Vintage Lady's Shopping Set
Emma Eilback

To make an attractive black and white shopping set for your boutique or dolls house scene, you will need:

  • your home Pc and printer
  • 180 or 200 gsm matt photo paper
  • Scissors
  • paper/card adhesive
  • cord or ribbon for the bag handles
  • Begin by setting your printer to the highest or "best" setting available. Using a sheet of 180 gsm matt photo paper, print out the design.

    For the printies sheet: http://www.dollshouseartisan.com/members/images/ladies_shopping_printies.pdf

Cut out all of the pieces, leave the rest to one side while you begin with the bags. Fold the bag pieces on the main section, using the lines and design as a guide, add a little glue to the bottom and side tabs. Fold the bag over, secure the tabs and hold in place for a few seconds. Finish off your bags with some ribbon or cord handles.

To make the little shoe and glove box set, simply fold the box and lid pieces as before. Glue the tabs and hold in place for a few seconds until the glue has begun to bond. Math the lids with the box pieces, you can add some silk ribbon or tissue paper if you wish.

Now you can have fun arranging your designs on your miniature scene, try adding some tissue paper inside your gift bags to pad them out a little.

You can print this set out as many times as you wish, to stock your miniature boutique or vintage ladies bedroom scene after a busy day shopping. This print out has been exclusively designed for Dolls House Artisan, and the sole use of their members, it is not to be used for circulation or profit.

I hope you will enjoy making this project. If you have any problems post your queries in the Support Forum
